For the past nine weeks, I have fostered a 3½ year old, female, Chihuahua mix. The Chihuahua’s owner is now able to leave the center having found affordable housing in an elderly lady’s home. Unfortunately, however, the lady is allergic to dogs. Please help me and the pet owner find a home for this fearless, loving Chihuahua. Hadassa is crate-trained and comes with a dog duck toy and a large deflated stuffed blue bunny from which she picks the stuffing. She does well with children, but becomes agitated when antagonized by 48 year old boys. (Her owner’s husband came after her with a shovel, so she still has some issues to work through.) Overall, she is sweet and protective (as Chihuahuas are), and would make someone a fine companion and watch dog (seriously). Photos attached, including one in her Auburn College of Vet Med muscle-t.
