Landscaping Superintendent

The successful applicant will supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in the care and maintenance of the university grounds so that they are maintained in a neat, orderly and aesthetically pleasing condition. The Landscaping Superintendent is responsible for establishing procedures and standards for use by the groundskeepers; supervises grounds keeping staff and equipment operators in the care and maintenance of grounds and facilities including lawn, shrubbery, flowers, building exteriors, walkways and parking areas. The Landscaping Superintendent also plans and schedules all work assignments for grounds staff and makes daily inspection of the campus to determine the quality of grounds maintenance performed; schedules campus trash pick- ups; plans and supervises training sessions on the use of grounds keeping equipment and in the performance of such duties as
